About the Photographer
Melissa Cacioppo studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Melissa’s interest in photography began in high school. Back in those pre-digital days, she saved up money from an after school job and built a makeshift darkroom in the basement of her childhood home. She has always had a strong interest in architecture and design. Growing up with a father who was a skilled furniture builder, she developed an appreciation for craftsmanship, form, and structure from an early age.
Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Rue Magazine, and House Beautiful.
